Hi, I’m Amber. I’m the creator of Heart & Body Yoga, a space born from my own journey of learning to slow down and to let my heart and body lead the way.
I found yoga as a safe, grounding space. A place where I could soften the constant striving, slow my mind, and remember what it feels like to live inside my body again. Over time, my mat became a place where my breath replaced pressure, stillness felt safer than hustle, and I learned that nothing about me needed fixing.
My teaching is slow, heart-led, and deeply somatic.
I offer two types of practice, each designed to help you reconnect with your body and find presence:
Slow, gentle somatic Heart & Body Flow classes guide you through meditative movement and body awareness. These classes invite you to notice sensation, follow your breath, and move with curiosity, helping you cultivate strength, mobility, and a grounded sense of embodiment.
Deep restorative classes are fully supported, slow, and calming. They invite you to surrender, relax, and sink deeply into your body, providing space for nervous system regulation, reflection, and total presence.
I care less about how a pose looks and more about how it feels for your nervous system, your heart, and your sense of presence. These classes are for anyone who is tired, overstimulated, or craving simplicity, and for anyone who wants to explore movement, stillness, and reflection in a compassionate, judgment-free space.
I’m also a writer at heart, and I bring that curiosity to my teaching. I love noticing the small moments that make life meaningful...words that feel true, warm mugs, long walks, honest conversations, and days that don’t need to be rushed. Reflection, journaling, and embodied awareness all live side by side on the mat.
This space is for you if you’re longing to slow down, reconnect with your body, and cultivate presence and compassion for yourself and your life. You don’t need to arrive as your “best self.” You just need to arrive as you are, supported by a teacher who’s still learning, still noticing, and still walking this path alongside you.
No experience is needed. Just bring yourself. We’re all a little messy, we’re all human, and we’re already enough.
I’m really glad you’re here.
