Hi, I’m Amber.
I’m the creator of Heart & Body Yoga, a space born from my own journey of learning to slow down, and let my heart and body lead the way.
I found yoga not as a performance, but as a safe space. A place where I could slow down, soften the constant striving, and learn how to live inside my body again. Over time, my mat became a space where breath replaced pressure, where stillness felt safer than hustle, and where I remembered that nothing about me needed fixing.
My teaching is slow, grounding, and heart-led and embodied in somatic awareness, meditative movement, and the belief that your body holds deep wisdom. I’m less interested in how a pose looks and more curious about how it feels. I teach for nervous systems that are tired, and people who crave simplicity in a world that asks for too much.
Outside of yoga, I love quiet mornings, long walks and hikes, collecting words that feel true, and noticing the little moments that make life feel meaningful — warm mugs, honest conversations, and days that don’t need to be rushed. I’m drawn to depth, quiet grace, and the kind of growth that happens slowly and honestly.
This space is for you if you’re longing to slow down, reconnect with your body, and live with a little more presence and compassion for yourself and for your life. You don’t need to arrive as your “best self.” You just need to arrive as you are, supported by a teacher walking this path right alongside you, still figuring it out, still learning every day to live more from the heart than from the head.
No experience is needed. Just bring yourself, as you are. We’re all a little messy, we’re all human, and we’re already enough.
I’m really glad you’re here.
